Temporary Takedown: Debugging The Human Algorithm is Getting Its Glow-Up
Hey everyone,
Just a quick update for today. As I mentioned in my last post, the wheels are finally moving on the remastered version of Debugging The Human Algorithm, which means we have to do a little temporary housekeeping.
If you go looking for the record in the next few days and can't find it, don't panic. Here is what's actually happening:
Going Dark on SoundCloud: The entire Debugging album is going to be taken down from SoundCloud starting tonight for a little while.
Making Room for the Remaster: I have to pull the old tracks down so I can get the shiny new remastered versions uploaded and properly cleared for monetization.
The Full Streaming Rollout: Once the dust settles on SoundCloud and the new files are locked in, the fully remastered album will start its official rollout across all the other major streaming platforms. Just a heads up—it’ll be the exact same drill for Apple Music, Spotify, YT Music, and the rest. The album will disappear from your saved libraries for a couple of days, and then it’ll reappear all new and remastered.
I know it’s a bit of a bummer if you’re used to streaming the original mix to get through your day, but I promise the brief silence will be worth it. The major purpose behind this remaster is applying what I've learned about properly packaging audio for distribution so there's minimal sound quality loss. When the album comes back online, you'll be getting an experience that's much closer to the true, lossless audio I hear on the production end.
Thanks for bearing with the construction dust while I get all this back-end stuff sorted out. Keep an eye on the newsgroup (or right here on the site) for the exact drop dates for both the remaster and the Debugged: Betas and B-Sides EP.
